We are TEAM NOVUS -Â part of the young enterprise programme. As a team of 16 to 17 years olds we have worked together to create our company DOODLEBLOOM. Our product is a pack of 12 plantable pencils in different colours and each pencil contains a different type of seed to plant. Our pencils are eco-friendly and sustainable as they are made from recycled wood.

Team Novus is a group of 16-17 year old girls, based in North London, with the ambition to change the world.
As a team, we have worked together to create plantable pencils. Our product contains 12 colouring pencils in assorted colours. Each pencils contains a different seed which, when planted, which grow into an array of beautiful flowers, herbs and plants.

What is the aim of doodlebloom?
Team Novus' aim for creating our product was to inspire people to become environmentally conscious and help sustain our world!  Pencils have an interactive nature and relatively small impact on the environment. We hope to encourage children to be creative and give back to the environment for a sustainable future.
What inspired you to create doodlebloom?
A tree in our local park was cut down and so this was at the forefront of our minds  in creating our product. As climate change is such a huge and detrimental impact on our beautiful world, we focused on creating a product which will help to sustain the world - a seed at a time. WE believe that plantable pencils is an innovative idea because it inspires children to be creative in gardening and art!
